After spending multiple hours on facebook at my companies expense, I decided to ask the IT guy in our office to block me from the website .
I have been trying lots of things in order to stop me from using my work time un-wisely. I have been praying, memorizing scripture, setting guidelines, I even have a florescent post-it note next to my computer that reads “SELF CONTROL!” (I get lots of comments on that one)… everything you can imagine I think I have attempted, none of these things have been working. So, in effort, I did it. I asked to be blocked.
Honestly, I feel good about it. Knowing that I do not have the option, I am not feeling as tempted.
Hopefully I will not find another website to take up my time.
