I will admit it. I still sleep with a blankie. I will probably NEVER give it up.

Lucy’s hand-eye coordination is starting to develop and she is grabbing more things. That’s right, including MY blankie. She looked like she was getting a little too comfortable with it so she will not be allowed to touch it anymore… even if she is freezing in a room and it is the only thing to cover her up with. Okay, maybe then she can have it… but that is the only situation.
It seemed so natural to her. Weird. She picked it up and did just what I do with it… rub between the fingers and then rub the face. So soft. So comfy. Ahh… makes me feel sleepy and warm just thinking about it…

I had a pink rabbi-bear, but Brian said it was not allowed in bed with us, so now it is sitting on my nightstand. I am so jealous you still get to use your blankie! Maybe we will have a daughter so I can pass Rabbi-bear onto her (since its pink)…but then again, I will probably freak out the first time she chews on his ear…so nevermind!!
BTW- Lucy is SOO cute!!
