Lucy my girl, she is getting so big. I can’t believe it.
Lu is sitting up by herself. She doesn’t last too long and I would not leave her by herself sitting up but she is definitely capable. She never wants to stay laying down, she is always trying to sit up on her own and when she grabs me she pulls herself up. It’s so cute.
She is reaching for things and putting EVERYTHING in her mouth… gotto watch out!
She is also moving around a lot in her crib. She is not rolling around in her crib yet but somehow she always ends up sideways when I go in to get her. Weird.
(She just tooted in my lap and it seriously smells!! ew. Just like her Daddy…)
Luc is def. teething. She is a crazy person when she gets to chew on something… like a Lion. Grr. I can’t wait for that little booger to poke through. She has a Shirt that has a little one tooth Alien on it that says “Lucy Toothy”, it will be so perfect when it is true! Aw. One day.
I just can’t believe how much she is growing and learning. It is so exciting to see her learning new things and becoming more independent. I am so blessed that I get to stay home with her everyday and cherish all of these milestones.
Oh yeah, solid food. She loves it. We finally have a good little schedule so it is going pretty smoothly. So far I have given her Rice Cereal, Bananas and Avocados. She has liked everything. This week we will be trying out some Sweet Potatoes… yeah baby. I honestly have never had a Sweet Potato, we will see what Lucy’s reaction is and then I might consider trying one. Though, she liked the avacados and I will not be trying that.
I am starting to collect things for her “big girl” room. I hope to complete it over the summer and eventually move her out of the nursery when she is sleeping through the night. Have I mentoined how much I love having a girl?! It is so fun to dress her and decorate for her. Ah. =o)
