Thanksgiving Craft

Thanksgiving is in one week! Ah! So crazy!

Holidays usually come and go and I don’t like it. So, this year I have decided that I was going to come up with a way to savor the season, to do something that would really highlight the “reason for the season” so to speak.

I got this craft idea from Tip Junkie. They have so many really great and easy ideas for crafts and family fun.

What are we doing? Drum roll…… The Thanksgiving Tree.

Each night before dinner we will all share something that we are grateful for, write it on the “leaf” and paste it to our tree. We will do this the week leading up to thanksgiving because well, we have SO much to be thankful for, that this little tree will not be able to hold all of our thankfulness if we did it the whole month. lol.

Here is the beginning of our Thanksgiving Tree.

To make this a family craft, I will be incorporating Lucy hands for some of the leaves but she is sleeping right now so I couldn’t show you what that would look like. But, of course I will post our finished product the day after Thanksgiving. =0)
