I had a nightmare.
Ryan was having an affair and he didn’t want to be with me anymore. I left the house frantically, in a rage, the street started flooding and I couldn’t swim back to get Lucy. All I kept saying was “I’m going to throw up, I’m going to throw up…”.
And what does one do when they can’t get back to their family during a flood? Watch Cheerleading competitions in Ocean City of course!
There was more detail but that is all I’m givin’ ya…
So..
When I woke up this morning I rolled over and asked Ryan: “Are you having an affair?”
I was pretty sure I knew the answer but when you have dreams like that you just have to make sure, or you (I) will be wondering if it was a prophetic dream from the Lord sending you (me) a warning. lol. I know, you’re (I’m) nuts.
What was his response?
“No, I don’t have time to have an affair.”
Uh, okay. Thanks. Good I guess?
lol
I totally understood what he meant, but, I think the appropriate answer at a time like that would be something like: “Of course not! Don’t be crazy. You are the only woman for me.”.
DUH!

Hi there! So, I have no pithy words, because my husband would do the same thing. :O) I think it is a guy thing.
I have decided that you might be my kindred spirit, and wish we had gotten to be “real” friends in Baltimore, instead of blog/facebook friends after I moved! I like looking over your old posts about where Lucy was at Grace’s age, and I was cracking up, because our girlie’s are so similar (ok, so maybe THEY are kindred spirits, not us! LOL) at the same ages. Actually, I was originally thinking that you were my kindred spirit because of your thoughts/reactions to things- particularly motherhood and also somewhat being a wife. It is so helpful and encouraging to me that you just lay your thoughts on the table….that takes a lot of humility!!!
2 (more) things though…
1) when did Lucy actually roll over, from back to belly?? Grace has mastered belly to back, and always looks like she is about to go the other way, but stops dead short. she hates her belly- although not as much, since she can now rotate herself in circles.
2) I had a dream the other night and I don;t remember the details, but Grace was missing. I woke up, shoke Brian’s arm and yelled, “WHERE”S THE BABY.” of course he answered, “I think she is in her crib…???” LOL.
