The Past Two Weeks…

Mary has been living with us now for almost two weeks, can I say that it has been wonderful? I have someone to talk to when Ryan is working late and she  made me a meal this week when I wasn’t feeling well. Thanks Mare!

So, Lucy having “Summertime Virus”… not so much. She actually has had Thrush and it has been quite challenging because, well, she gave it to me. Lets just say that we are beginning to transition away from nursing. She seems to be doing fine, never really caused her any pain, just some nasty looking things in her mouth and on her “area”. We are on antibiotics and should be clearing up within a month or so… stubborn little infection!

It is so sad that my camera is not working. I have been missing so many new picture opportunities! I mean, 8 1/2 months… she could be crawling or pulling herself up on furniture any day now! Not to mention she is moving into a whole new clothing size and there are so many new cute outfits I would like to document.

Lately, I have been feeling really needy of attention… maybe because Ryan has been working a lot and I am home by myself all day. My reading schedule is getting better and I have been able to cook actual meals lately. I feel tires all of the time so I am going to try and get some B12 supplements and see if that helps at all. I feel chubby. I have been taking a work-out class once a week and try to walk as much as possible… I think that my clothes just aren’t flattering on my body anymore and I am comparing myself to other people too much. Other than that, I am grateful to be alive and breathing, and so thankful that I have a beautiful little girl that I get to hang out with and kiss anytime I want. Oh yeah, and I have a stinkin’ hot husband.

  1. Hi. Lucy is absolutely adorable in her little skirt. So sorry you are not feeling well. Alan and Ashley went to Salisbury for FCA camp and brought back bronchitus to me. This is my 4th week and still have that lingering cough. It was horrible. We all have had it. Praying for you to feel better soon. Miss you and Lucy. Need a Lucy hug and love fix. Kiss her for me and Ashley.
