Happy 6 Months Abram

Dear Abram,

My beautiful Son, I love, love, love you!

I know that you may be a little upset that you have had less “blog time” then your sister when she was your age but I promise that does not mean I love you any less. You guys have me very busy, I just don’t have the time to write as much as I would like. If anything, I love you more because she makes me crazy.- you just lay around and smile and sleep. Just kidding. Not kidding about your personality, kidding about loving you more. I love you both.

At six months you are sitting up, eating solid foods and putting everything in your mouth. When are those stinkin’ teeth gonna show up? As far as food goes, you absolutely despise peas. You love bananas and applesauce (you’ve got that sweet tooth like yo mamma) and we are workin’ on the sippy cup thing.

The only person in our home that can make you belly laugh is your sister. You really love her. I should be a little jealous but it actually really makes me happy. I believe that one of the best gifts I could have given either of you is each other. You and I always tuck Lucy in for her naps together and we read books. You have to lay on her left side or she gets upset and when you start talking or making too much noise she tells me to pick you up. She still calls you “My Bud” and whenever we go anywhere without you she reminds me that you are missing and that she misses you.

We got you a puppy for Valentines Day (well not just you, the whole family). You love him too. I think you are his favorite.

I’m not sure how much you weigh, your DR apt isn’t until next week. You are wearing clothes size 9-12 months so I’m sure you probably weigh around 20lbs. I’d be surprised if you didn’t.

You are very content (unless you are hungry). You are sleeping through the night (thank you). You look good in the color white and when you wear those cute little brown monkey pajamas. Everyone says you look like the Boylan’s but I definitely see a lot of your Daddy in you too. If I knew for sure that every baby I had would be like you I would have six more.

Thank you for six months of joy and happiness. You have been just another undeserved blessing in my life. I love you little guy. Happy Half Year!
